Nama komplek itu, 69 Residence, didatangi Persik yang tidak lagi mempunyai tempat tinggal. Tentu saja ia akan menginap di rumah Cherry. Dan saat Persik datang, suasana di komplek itu menjadi ‘panas’ karena tingkah laku Persik yang menonjolkan sensualitas. Rahma yang merupakan istri ketua perumahan, harus ke Bandung dan sepertinya akan menargetkan Persik sebagai calon terusir. Cherry sendiri sudah memperingatkan agar Persik tidak bersikap seronok. Tapi Persik yang polos menuruti saja. Yono, sang satpam pada malamnya ternyata suka mencuri pakaian dalam para wanita kompleks. Hal itu ketahuan oleh Rozak.
Pak Tono yang tinggal diseberang rumah Cherry jadi tidak pernah menyentuh istrinya, Jeng Mimi selama tiga bulan kendati Jeng Mimi sudah memompa dadanya agar membesar. Jeng Mimipun minta bantuan Persik untuk “menseksikan” dirinya. Jeng Yum, buruh cuci seksi idaman Yono juga ikut-ikutan. Akhirnya setelah malam itu, Pak Tono kembali bergairah lagi kepada Mimi. Pada ulangtahun Cherry, Persik berhasil menyatukan kembali Aldo dan Cherry. Hal itu dilaporkan Yono yang diancam Rozak kepada Rahma. Rahma datang dan membubarkan semuanya. Tetapi pada akhirnya, suami Rahma berhasil bertindak tegas dan meluruskan semuanya. Jeng Yum juga memberitahu tentang intimidasi Rozak terhadap Yono. Walaupun usul perubahan arah kiblat ini ditolak, melalui suraunya Ahmad Dahlan (Lukman Sardi) mengawali pergerakan dengan mengubah arah kiblat yang salah. Ahmad Dahlan dianggap mengajarkan aliran sesat, menghasut dan merusak kewibawaan Keraton dan Masjid Besar.
Bukan sekali ini Ahmad Dahlan membuat para kyai naik darah. Dalam khotbah pertamanya sebagai khatib, dia menyindir kebiasaan penduduk di kampungnya, Kampung Kauman, Yogyakarta. "Dalam berdoa itu cuma ikhlas dan sabar yang dibutuhkan, tak perlu kiai, ketip, apalagi sesajen," katanya. Walhasil, Dahlan dimusuhi.
Langgar kidul di samping rumahnya, tempat dia salat berjemaah dan mengajar mengaji, bahkan sempat hancur diamuk massa lantaran dianggap menyebarkan aliran sesat.
Dahlan, yang piawai bermain biola, dianggap kontroversial. Ahmad Dahlan juga di tuduh sebagai kyai Kafir karena membuka sekolah yang menempatkan muridnya duduk di kursi seperti sekolah modern Belanda, serta mengajar agama Islam di Kweekschool atau sekolah para bangsawan di Jetis, Yogyakarta.
Ahmad Dahlan juga dituduh sebagai kyai Kejawen hanya karena dekat dengan lingkungan cendekiawan priyayi Jawa di Budi Utomo. Tapi tuduhan tersebut tidak membuat pemuda Kauman itu surut. Dengan ditemani isteri tercinta, Siti Walidah (Zaskia Adya Mecca) dan lima murid murid setianya : Sudja (Giring Ganesha), Sangidu (Ricky Perdana), Fahrudin (Mario Irwinsyah), Hisyam (Dennis Adhiswara) dan Dirjo (Abdurrahman Arif), Ahmad Dahlan membentuk organisasi Muhammadiyah dengan tujuan mendidik umat Islam agar berpikiran maju sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman.
